How we
might work with you, how we do what we do

This section gives a general overview of each of the key services we offer and looks briefly at the Process we might undertake in each area. It begins with some general points about almost all our projects.
Every client project is designed and developed individually with the client, each one is different, but there are certain common themes that run through projects in each area.

This is a simple representation of how we would expect any typical project to proceed.
We want to begin from an agreed
understanding, to set clear objectives and outcomes.
We aim
to work in partnership with the client and the people, to enable, to pass on
skills and not to build dependency.
We
want to be able to see that our assistance has brought clear benefits.
Our working principles are:
Each project is approached with a flexible attitude. There is no standard methodology or system that is applied to any of the client’s project. Each one is different. The approach is tailored to the particular needs of the client, the project objectives and the issues.
A key factor in the approach is to listen, actively, to all the messages to build a full understanding and help to win the trust of the participants
We endeavour to ensure that our approach facilitates an open discussion, a discussion that is open to all parties and where understanding and the possibilities for change are opened up.
On the basis of our experience and ability to work with varied groups we believe our projects and solutions to be more creative but also more achievable as they are founded upon the active participation of all parties.
Our approach is catalytic. We aim to facilitate and to make it happen.
We aim to combine the elements of the good
practice, with our own and the client’s experience and to adopt and develop a
process to achieve client project requirements. We would wish to evaluate the
results.
We believe in enabling our clients to do what we do, for themselves. We work by gaining the client's active participation in the process. This not only assists the buy-in, but also the quality of the research, discussion and the implementation.
Fundamental to the approach is continuous improvement - the learning that is found in every project. We bring the benefit of this growing experience in varied organisations and with varied initiatives. Whilst we are expected to lead, with knowledge, skills and attitude we also realise that every situation is new, presents learning opportunities and the opportunity to be seen to be learning. A willingness to learn facilitates the progress of our initiatives.
Commitment to a successful outcome is fundamental; Evaluation of the outcomes is a part of the approach.
